Nicholas Martin BSc MRICS MBIFM

Principal

Nick completed a degree in Building Studies from Coventry University in 1988 and became a chartered building surveyor in 1991. Nick is also a member of the British Institute of Facilities Managers.

During his early career, Nick worked in architecture, building services and construction and has a wide range of experience in many different sectors.

Nick set up Aedifice Partnership in 2000 to provide client focused surveying services and to develop long term working relationships with clients and the construction teams.

Nick has over 30 years of experience in the contract administration and the employers agent role – along with design and cost management and more specialist services such as health and safety, party wall matters, defects analysis and boundary disputes.

He has worked in many different industries, offering services to charity clients, local authorities – and other public bodies – manufacturing industries, multinational companies, developers, healthcare, education and residential sectors.

Currently, Nick specialises in the care industry, education and residential development.
